Happy Monday! So last weekend I had the opportunity to head to the Graduate Hotel in Oxford, Ms to have a nice and quiet stay away from the kids. It was the first time Michael and I had been away since before Michael (the babe) was born. Actually, we hadn’t been away since our seven year anniversary and this year will make ten years! So, it was long overdue.
From the moment we walked in you could feel that Southern hospitality, not to mention it was the cutest little town driving in. the square was so quaint and picturesque. By the time we got all checked in we were starving and thankfully their restaurant, “The Coop”, was still opened. If you are in the mood for a good cocktail and some southern charm definitely check out this spot. The view of the town was so perfect, but I was enjoyed that frose’ a little too much to remember to take a picture. Oops!
How cute is this room! I was loving the retro 60’s vibes going on. The beds were so cozy and spacious, especially without a couple of kids climbing in during the middle of the night. But, to be completely honest it was kind of difficult to stay asleep. Since we are always with the kids I was always thinking they were about to come in. Other than that we had a fabulous night sleep!
The next morning we had a delicious breakfast at the Graduate Hotel restaurant, Cabin 82. Once we finished up I wanted to take one last stroll around the square and then I somehow convinced Michael to drive around and look at all of the gorgeous homes. Wow! They have some lovely homes in Oxford y’all.
Thank you so much Graduate Hotel for having us in Oxford. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can not wait to come back and stay. I have my eye on a few of the other properties as well!
