Hey babes! Do you own a plaid oversized blazer or a ladies boyfriend blazer yet? I remember talking about my classic black blazer last year and while I still love it, I needed some variety. Plus, my black blazer is more fitted and I wanted a ladies boyfriend blazer that I could layer sweaters under. This blazer is actually herringbone and it was an impulse purchase while I was at Target. What’s new?! I do have my eye on that velvet trimmed plaid oversized blazer from SheIn linked below. It is very similar to a pricier one I recently came across while browsing through Free People.
I don’t know about you, but there is something about throwing a blazer on that makes me feel a little more important and put together. To me a blazer immediately elevates a simple look. Giving the illusion that everything else you have on looks smart and of quality. I mean, they don’t call it a “Power Suit” for nothing! Speaking of, there are some stunning suits out right now. I don’t have the type of job where I need or could even wear a suit, but give me a blazer any day.
I plan on pairing this plaid oversized blazer with a tee and boyfriend jeans for a more relaxed look. You can even pair it with a chunky knit and a pair of leather trousers when the temperature cools down a little more. Or, if it is still in the 80’s where you are (like it is here) then roll up the sleeves, like I did, and throw on some cut off shorts and a pair of booties. In fact, I think thats exactly what I will be doing today!
