As a mom, finding yourself can be a bit of a challenge. Those first few months are a whirlwind of emotion. You can easily get lost and caught up in all the baby newness. It is wonderful for a time, but I had to remind myself I’m not just a mom. I am also a wife and my best friend needs me and trust me I need him more than ever.

This week I realized I have been following a number of bloggers for years now. They have been my go to for fashion, beauty and home decor, but recently my taste has taken a different turn. I am loving a more simple and classic approach to fashion and beauty. Don’t get me wrong color will always be in my life but the grays, whites and nudes are just beautiful and so timeless.

My go to inspiration lately has been Lydia Elise Millen, Erica from Fashionedchic, and most recently Aria from Aria Di Bari

Cute story! I just recently got married and I’m very nervous about that chapter when we start having kids! It’s nice to know you still get oogly eyed over your hubby ๐Ÿ™‚

Awe congratulations! Kids definitely change things but it’s all worth it. Watching him with the kids makes me love him that much more….so cheesy but true.

Aww that’s so sweet to hear. My hubby has always been a kid guy and I know that when we have them he’s gonna a be a great father, but I do wonder about what happens to us. Thanks for your reply!
